For the second year in a row, Above the Net had the pleasure of attending the USTA Georgia Community Tennis Development Workshop & Annual Meeting at the beautiful JW Marriott in Buckhead, GA. It was an incredible weekend filled with learning about school scholarship opportunities, sharing key data on the health benefits of playing tennis, discussing USTA Georgia’s vision for 2026, and celebrating the 2024 award winners for outstanding achievement across more than 20 categories.
Connecting with fellow NJTL (National Junior Tennis & Learning) and CTA (Community Tennis Association) organizations from across Georgia was a powerful reminder of the importance of our work in introducing the sport we love to more people. The impact of this conference cannot be overstated, from building new relationships to exchanging fresh ideas on growing the game, with the support of USTA Georgia and USTA Southern playing a key role in these discussions.
Above the Net is proud to be part of this movement, and we’re excited to continue expanding access to tennis in our community and beyond.
