Despite the brisk weather this past Saturday, the smiles of our children and parents were enough to make the courts feel like a summer day! We were thrilled to host Anna Cogdill, Assistant Director for Programming & Outreach at the Henry County Library System, for an engaging and enlightening session that left everyone inspired.
Anna shared all the amazing resources and activities the library has to offer—from coding workshops and creative arts sessions to STEM lessons that spark curiosity. Plus, she highlighted some extra perks: Chromebook checkouts (for up to two weeks!) and free museum passes to top attractions across Georgia. Who knew your library card could open so many doors?
But that’s not all! Our kids were especially excited to hear about the upcoming Winter Reading Bingo Challenge, where they’ll have the chance to win cool prizes by diving into their favorite books. What better way to stay cozy this winter than with a good read and a little friendly competition?
A huge thank-you to Anna and the Henry County Library team for sharing their time and valuable information with our families. We’re looking forward to more opportunities to bring learning, fun, and community engagement right to the courts.
Parents, don’t let your kids miss out on the action! Tennis isn’t just about the game—it’s about growth, leadership, and building connections. Visit our website today to register your child for our programs and discover how Above the Net is shaping future champions, both on the court and in life. Let’s ace this together!
